Looking for RCCB or RCBO manufacturers in Yueqing? The city’s low-voltage electrical cluster includes large groups, specialist circuit-protection suppliers and established component manufacturers. This research shortlist covers ten companies with a published RCCB or RCBO range, an official product source and a verifiable connection to Yueqing or the surrounding Wenzhou manufacturing base.

The two product types are related but not interchangeable. An RCCB provides residual-current protection only. An RCBO combines residual-current protection with overcurrent protection in one device. The correct choice depends on the circuit design, available board space, required discrimination and the local installation rules. Use this list to identify catalogues worth opening, then send every shortlisted supplier the same technical and commercial brief. If you are also building a panel bill of materials, see our Yueqing MCB, MCCB manufacturer, contactor manufacturer and surge protector manufacturer guides.

How this list was selected: Based on each manufacturer’s official product and location information, reviewed on 21 October 2026. This is a research shortlist, not a quality, price or export ranking. It does not imply that BottomRace has audited every factory, that every model is certified for your market or that the companies are interchangeable. Confirm the legal entity, production site and model-specific documents before requesting samples or arranging a visit.

Compare RCCB and RCBO quotations on the same basis

An RCCB and an RCBO perform different jobs. An RCCB detects residual current and trips the circuit, but it does not replace a fuse or circuit breaker for overload and short-circuit protection. An RCBO combines both functions, which can simplify a final-distribution board and make a single outgoing circuit easier to isolate, but it is not automatically the right choice for every installation. The system designer must decide what protection is required at each point and how the devices will discriminate with upstream protection.

Residual-current sensitivity, shown as IΔn, is commonly 30mA, 100mA or 300mA, but the correct value depends on the application and local rules. A 30mA device is often used for additional protection against electric shock where required, but it should not be treated as a universal substitute for basic insulation, earthing, isolation or overcurrent protection. Selective or time-delayed devices may be needed upstream, and the manufacturer’s instructions must be followed.

The residual-current Type also matters. Type AC responds to alternating residual current. Type A also responds to pulsating direct residual current. Type F adds capability for certain mixed-frequency residual currents, and Type B is intended for smooth direct residual current and other defined waveforms. EV charging is a particular example: depending on the charger design, market rules and installation, a Type B device or a Type A device combined with 6mA DC residual-current detection may be required. Do not choose the Type from a catalogue badge alone.

For an RCBO, also compare the overcurrent protection: rated current, trip curve, rated voltage, frequency and short-circuit capacity. For an RCCB, compare the residual making and breaking capacity and the associated short-circuit protection arrangement. Both product types need the correct pole configuration: 1P+N, 2P, 3P+N or 4P. Check whether the neutral is switched, whether the device is intended for a specific earthing arrangement and how the terminals and DIN-rail width fit the board.

IEC/EN 61008-1 is the standard commonly referenced for RCCBs, while IEC/EN 61009-1 is commonly referenced for RCBOs. A standards reference on a web page is not proof that a particular catalogue number holds a certificate for your destination market. Ask for the certificate, test report or declaration that names the exact model, ratings, Type and variant. Check its scope and validity with the issuer or your compliance adviser where market access is critical.

Include in your enquiry Ask the supplier to confirm
Function RCCB only, or RCBO with combined overload and short-circuit protection; state where the device sits in the distribution design.
Electrical system Rated voltage, frequency, number of phases, neutral arrangement, earthing system and expected short-circuit level.
Residual current Required IΔn, Type AC, A, F or B, selective or instantaneous behaviour and any DC residual-current requirement.
Current and curve Rated current and trip curve for an RCBO; upstream overcurrent device and coordination for an RCCB.
Breaking performance Short-circuit capacity for an RCBO; residual making and breaking capacity and associated protection for an RCCB.
Poles and neutral 1P+N, 2P, 3P+N or 4P; whether the neutral is switched; terminal arrangement and wiring direction.
Mechanical fit DIN-rail width, dimensions, terminal capacity, torque, test-button position, status indicator and access for testing.
Environment and coordination Surge immunity, selectivity, earth-fault loop, enclosure, ambient temperature and coordination with upstream protection.
Documents and market access Current datasheet, drawing, manual, test evidence, certificate scope and declaration covering the exact model and destination.
Commercial package MOQ, sample cost, OEM terms, packing, lead time, Incoterms, warranty and spare or accessory availability.

Do not compare a 30mA Type AC RCCB with a 30mA Type A RCBO as if they were the same product. Write down the function, Type, sensitivity, poles, current rating, curve and breaking performance you require, then require each supplier to quote against that schedule or explain a deviation in writing.

Turn the shortlist into a productive RCCB or RCBO factory visit

Arrange visits after the supplier has answered the technical schedule and identified the production site for the exact model. A sales office may be separate from the factory, and a broad electrical group may produce different product families at different locations.

  • Bring the electrical brief: include the function, voltage, poles, current, residual Type, sensitivity, curve, breaking capacity, quantity and destination market.
  • Agree the visit checklist: identify the relevant incoming inspection, moulding, coil or electronic assembly, calibration, residual-current test, overcurrent test, marking and packing stages.
  • Compare the sample with the quotation: check the model label, IΔn, Type, current, curve, poles, neutral switching, test button, indicator and terminals against the datasheet.
  • Review traceability: ask how finished devices are linked to production batches, critical components, calibration records and carton markings.
  • Confirm what the visit proves: a factory visit provides observations and answers, not a type test, certification review or guarantee of future production quality. Arrange product testing and market-access checks separately.

Questions buyers often ask

Should I choose an RCCB or an RCBO?

Choose an RCCB when residual-current protection is required separately and overcurrent protection is already provided by a suitable breaker or fuse. Choose an RCBO when you need combined residual-current and overcurrent protection for an outgoing circuit and the board design supports it. The decision also depends on discrimination, selectivity, panel space, isolation and local installation rules.

Is 30mA always the right residual-current sensitivity?

No. 30mA is common for additional protection against electric shock where required, but 100mA or 300mA devices may be appropriate for other parts of the installation, and selective devices may be needed to achieve discrimination. The correct value depends on the circuit, earthing arrangement, upstream devices and applicable local rules. Do not change sensitivity merely to stop nuisance tripping without finding the cause.

Can I use a Type AC device for EV charging?

Do not assume so. EV charging can produce smooth DC residual current, and the required protection depends on the charger design, installation and market. A Type B device, or a Type A device combined with 6mA DC residual-current detection, may be specified. Confirm the complete charging-system design and the applicable standard with the charger manufacturer and a qualified electrical designer.

Does a page mentioning IEC 61009-1 prove the product is certified?

No. It shows that the product is described against that standard, but it does not prove that the exact catalogue number, Type, rating and factory are covered by a valid certificate for your market. Ask for the certificate or test document, check the model and ratings named in it, and verify the scope with the issuer or your compliance adviser.

Are these companies ranked by quality, price or export volume?

No. This is a research shortlist based on published product and location information. It is not a quality, price or export ranking. Ask every supplier to quote the same specification, compare technical deviations and document packages, and verify the legal entity and production site before ordering.
