For a Yueqing harmonic filter manufacturer shortlist, compare Geyue, Hangrong, CNBYG, Hongcheng, Jiuyan, Youlang, Yadulan, Andeli, Weidekang and Hongyan. Each company publishes an APF, SVG or wider power-quality product range and a Yueqing connection on an official website. The important comparison is not the largest current label on a brochure: it is the measured harmonic spectrum, compensation objective, CT arrangement, module or cabinet boundary, thermal design, control response and the documents linked to the exact model.
“Harmonic filter” can mean an active power filter, a static var generator, a hybrid active system or a passive filter branch. An APF injects a controlled current to cancel selected harmonic current. An SVG mainly provides fast reactive-power control and may also have harmonic or imbalance functions depending on the model. A passive detuned filter uses capacitors, reactors and switching devices to address a defined harmonic and reactive-power duty. These are different products with different studies, protection and commissioning requirements. Decide which function you are buying before comparing factories. If the filter will sit beside a capacitor bank, drive or switchboard, our reactor guide, power capacitor guide, switchgear guide and VFD guide help define the surrounding scope.
How this list was selected: Official product, catalogue and contact pages were reviewed on 24 October 2026. This is a research shortlist, not a quality, price, certification, export or “best” ranking. It does not imply that BottomRace has audited every factory or verified every published rating. Confirm the legal entity, production site, exact model, current datasheet and supporting test documents before ordering. A company website, a product photograph or a logo does not prove the performance or certification of the specific unit you will receive.

1. Zhejiang Geyue Electric Technology Co., Ltd.
Short name: GEYUE
Published location: Zhangwan Industrial Zone, Beibaixiang, Yueqing
Geyue publishes GYAPF and GYSVG as separate active-compensation families. Its APF page describes an external CT, DSP calculation and a PWM-controlled IGBT converter that injects a compensating current. The page cites GB/T 3859.2, but the public description does not replace a model datasheet. Ask for the current rating, voltage and phase configuration, harmonic orders, CT ratio, response time, parallel capability, cooling arrangement and cabinet or module dimensions for the exact model. The published address is Zhangwan Industrial Zone in Beibaixiang.
Before requesting a quote: Provide the supply voltage, frequency, phase and neutral arrangement, measured harmonic spectrum, THDi and THDu targets, load profile, CT location and ratio, required APF current, reactive-power target and installation format. 2. Hangrong Electric (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.
Short name: HANGRONG
Published location: No. 88 Zhandong Road, Dianhou Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing
Hangrong publishes HR-APF as a filter product and separately lists an HR-APF filter cabinet and HR-SVG dynamic reactive-power device. The filter page describes an IGBT power converter and detection based on instantaneous reactive-power theory. This separation between a module and a complete cabinet is useful, but the public technical text is brief. The company page also states that it has more than 5,000 m2 of standardized factory space. Confirm whether the quoted article is the module alone or the enclosure with breaker, protection, CT interface, cooling and terminals.
Before requesting a quote: State whether you need an APF module, an APF cabinet, an SVG or a combined power-quality cabinet. Send the voltage, frequency, phase and neutral arrangement, harmonic spectrum, load variation, CT data, required current or kvar, parallel scheme, ambient temperature, altitude and installation clearance. Ask for the exact HR model, dimensions, wiring diagram, cooling, protection, communications, routine tests and the boundary of supply.
Official sources: HR-APF active power filter – HR-APF filter cabinet – HR-SVG dynamic reactive-power device – company contact details.

4. Zhejiang Hongcheng Electric Co., Ltd.
Short name: HONGCHENG
Published location: Xuezhai Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing
Hongcheng's official site publishes an APF active-power-filter page and groups it under power-quality treatment hardware. The rest of the catalogue is closely tied to reactors, capacitors, controllers and compensation assemblies, which can be useful when an APF must be coordinated with an existing capacitor bank. The APF page itself is short: it confirms the product category but does not publish a complete selection table. Ask for the current catalogue, model list, cabinet or module format, controller details, CT interface and production record before treating the entry as a complete APF source.
Before requesting a quote: Send the system voltage, harmonic spectrum, target THDi, load profile, existing capacitor and reactor arrangement, CT data and required APF current. Ask for the exact model, topology, filter orders, response time, parallel arrangement, cooling, protection, dimensions, communications and routine-test record. Confirm whether Hongcheng manufactures or integrates the power stage and controller.

5. Zhejiang Jiuyan Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd.
Short name: JIUYAN
Published location: Xinguang Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing
Jiuyan publishes JY-APF and JY-SVG as separate products and keeps high-voltage, low-voltage and drive-filter categories visible. The APF page describes real-time monitoring of the nonlinear load current, separation of the harmonic component and injection of a compensating current. The site also lists a drive and converter filter category, which should not be mistaken for an active filter. A reactor or passive drive filter may be appropriate for one harmonic problem, while a dynamic APF may suit a changing load; the application study decides.
Before requesting a quote: State the voltage class, frequency, harmonic spectrum, load variability, target THDi, required APF current or SVG kvar, CT ratio and location, parallel scheme and available cabinet space. Ask for the exact JY model, topology, filter range, response time, losses, cooling, protection, communication protocol, drawing, test record and supplied scope. For drive filters, identify the drive rating, switching frequency and cable length separately.
Official sources: High- and low-voltage APF/SVG category – JY-APF active filter – JY-SVG static var generator – Drive and converter filter category – company contact details.

Yadulan publishes a combined SVG and APF category with rack, wall and distribution-network module formats. The product page lists APF examples at 50 A, 75 A, 100 A and 150 A, and SVG examples at 30, 50, 75 and 100 kvar. It describes DSP calculation, semiconductor power conversion, modular construction, multi-unit parallel operation, CT position and polarity recognition, and communication with intelligent capacitors. These published ratings make the page useful for an initial selection, but the buyer still needs the datasheet, derating conditions and test record for the exact module.
Before requesting a quote: State the required APF current or SVG kvar, supply voltage, phase and neutral arrangement, harmonic spectrum, target power factor, load balance, CT data, parallel units, rack or wall mounting and ambient conditions. Ask for the exact model, dimensions, airflow clearance, filter range, efficiency, losses, protection, communication protocol, parallel-control diagram and serial-number-linked test record.
Official sources: SVG/APF category – SVG series and APF overview – company contact details.

Its company page states that it has an R&D centre in Shanghai and lists voltage coverage from 220 V and 400 V through 690 V, 800 V and 10 kV. It also claims harmonic removal of at least 97% and neutral-current elimination of more than 95% for third-harmonic treatment. Those figures are company claims, not a model certificate or a guaranteed site result. The buyer should define whether the project needs a low-voltage module, a complete cabinet or a high-voltage system.
Before requesting a quote: Provide the voltage class, system earthing, harmonic spectrum, load profile, target THDi and power factor, neutral current, CT arrangement, parallel requirement and environmental conditions. Ask for the exact APF, SVG or PQC model, rated capacity, topology, response time, efficiency, cooling, protection, communications, cabinet boundary, drawing and model-specific test report. Confirm the production site and which entity signs the equipment warranty.
Official sources: APF category – APF product overview – Low-voltage SVG – High-voltage SVG – company contact details.

Short name: WEIDEKANG
Published location: No. 61 Aomen Middle Road, Jiangjiaqiao Industrial Zone, Beibaixiang, Yueqing
Weidekang lists APF active filters and filter cabinets together with SVG equipment in its product centre. Its wider background is low-voltage power capacitors, compensation controllers, switching devices and reactors, which can be relevant when a filter must be coordinated with an existing capacitor bank. The public APF page is sparse and does not show a complete model table or technical schedule. Use this company as a discovery lead, then request a current catalogue, product photograph, nameplate, drawing and test record for the exact APF or cabinet before shortlisting it for a project.
Before requesting a quote: Send the harmonic study, supply voltage, required filter current, CT ratio and location, target THDi, existing capacitor steps, ambient conditions and cabinet space. Ask for the exact APF or SVG model, module or cabinet boundary, power-stage topology, controller, filter orders, cooling, protection, communications, drawing and routine-test record. Its product overview identifies harmonic-treatment and reactive-compensation product groups and names applications including rail, charging, solar, municipal and building loads. The public technical-parameter section is mostly presented as images, so a buyer should request a current written datasheet rather than copying numbers from a screenshot. The published address is No. 2188 Liuhuang Road in Liushi.
Before requesting a quote: Provide the supply voltage, harmonic spectrum, load profile, target THDi, reactive-power requirement, neutral current, CT arrangement, module or cabinet preference, parallel units and ambient conditions. Ask for the exact HYAPF, HYSVGC or HYSVG model, topology, current or kvar rating, harmonic range, response time, losses, cooling, protection, communication protocol, dimensions, drawing and model-level test record.
Official sources: APF category – HYAPF active filter – HYAPF filter cabinet – HYSVGC hybrid system – company contact details.
Harmonic filter quotation and design checklist
An active filter can appear complete while the quotation leaves out the power-quality study, CT boundary, parallel control or cabinet responsibility. Give every supplier the same measurements and ask for a model-specific design, not a price for a generic “APF”.
| Include in your enquiry | Ask each supplier to confirm |
|---|---|
| Harmonic study | Measured spectrum and THDi/THDu at the point of connection, dominant orders, time-varying load profile, existing passive filters, resonance risk and the target after compensation. |
| Supply and earthing | Nominal and maximum voltage, frequency, three-phase three-wire or four-wire arrangement, neutral current, system earthing, fault level and upstream protection. |
| Compensation objective | Harmonic current, displacement power factor, total power factor, voltage regulation, phase imbalance and neutral-current reduction stated separately. |
| APF rating | Current capacity at the stated voltage, filter orders, bandwidth, response time, overload capability, derating, N+1 or parallel scheme and the calculation used to size each module. |
| SVG rating | Inductive and capacitive kvar range, continuous current, response time, target power factor, control modes and whether harmonic or imbalance functions are included in the quoted model. |
| CT interface | CT ratio, accuracy, location, polarity, cable length, number of CT sets, multi-source boundaries and commissioning procedure for position or polarity detection. |
| Power stage | IGBT or other semiconductor type, DC-link capacitors, reactors, drivers, switching frequency, controller platform, firmware version and replaceable subassemblies. |
| Form of supply | Module or cabinet, enclosure dimensions, breaker and fuse responsibility, busbar and cable terminals, isolation, bypass, forced cooling and clearances around the unit. |
| Thermal and environment | Rated ambient, altitude, IP rating, heat loss, airflow, filter cleaning, cabinet temperature rise, noise and operation at partial load. |
| Control and monitoring | Local display, Modbus or other protocol, data logging, alarm list, remote access, event history, firmware update route and cyber-security responsibilities. |
| Protection and failure mode | Overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, fan failure, CT loss, module isolation, bypass strategy and what happens to the plant when the filter trips. |
| Tests and standards | Applicable IEC or GB standards, type and routine tests, temperature and performance evidence, EMC, insulation, protection coordination and a sample serial-number-linked test record. |
| Commercial identity | Legal manufacturer, integrator, production site, country of origin, warranty, spare-parts route, document revision and technical contact for commissioning. |
Do not size an APF from the transformer rating. The required filter current comes from the measured harmonic content at the intended compensation point, the load profile and the target THDi or harmonic current. A large transformer with light nonlinear load may need a small filter; a smaller transformer with a high-kWh variable-speed-drive load may need a larger one. Ask the supplier to show the current spectrum and the calculation behind each module.
Separate APF, SVG and passive filtering. An APF can reduce selected harmonic currents. An SVG is primarily a fast reactive-power source, though some models combine functions. A passive filter branch is tuned around capacitors, reactors and the network impedance, so it needs a resonance study and cannot be copied from another site. A hybrid system may combine more than one function, which makes the scope, control hierarchy and failure mode even more important.
Keep the module and the cabinet boundary visible. A module quotation may include only the power unit and controller, while a cabinet quotation may add breakers, fuses, contactors, busbars, CTs, cooling, terminals, surge protection and system testing. Compare the bill of materials line by line. Ask which party designs the enclosure, validates the temperature rise, performs the wiring check and signs the commissioning report.
Treat published efficiency as a defined test result. “97% filtering” can mean harmonic-current reduction, harmonic-removal efficiency or a specific site result under stated load. Ask for the definition, test conditions, measurement instrument, CT accuracy, background distortion and whether the result applies to the exact model. Do not convert a brochure percentage into a guaranteed plant performance figure.
What to check during a harmonic filter factory visit
Arrange the visit after the supplier has identified the exact model and production site. Ask which operations are in-house: power-stage assembly, driver-board production, controller programming, reactor winding, cabinet wiring, burn-in, load testing and final packing.
- Trace the power stage: ask to see the IGBT or power-module mounting, DC-link capacitor bank, laminated busbar, gate driver, heat sink and torque records. Confirm the components and creepage against the approved drawing.
- Review the controller: check the DSP or control board, CT interface, firmware version, parameter backup and access control. Ask how the factory prevents a wrong CT ratio or polarity from producing an unsafe compensation command.
- Inspect magnetics and cooling: review filter reactors, current-limiting components, fans, airflow paths, temperature sensors and dust protection. Ask how the unit derates at high ambient temperature and altitude.
- Watch the production tests: request insulation, dielectric, functional, communication, CT-injection, load or burn-in tests applicable to the product. Record the instrument calibration, test limits and serial number.
- Check parallel operation: if multiple modules are proposed, ask to see the master-slave or distributed control arrangement, current sharing, CT boundary and what happens when one module is removed.
- Review the cabinet build: for a complete cabinet, inspect breaker and fuse selection, busbar clearances, terminal labelling, earthing, surge protection, door interlocks, ventilation and the separation of power and signal wiring.
- Ask for the failure strategy: confirm whether a filter fault trips the upstream breaker, opens a bypass or leaves the load running. The required behaviour depends on the plant; an “automatic bypass” label is not enough without a wiring and logic diagram.
- Check the records: request the approved drawing, bill of materials, calibration list, routine-test record, nameplate data, firmware record, commissioning checklist and warranty route linked to the serial number.
- Confirm the entity and site: verify the legal manufacturer, integrator and production address for the module, cabinet and controller. If a group has several plants, ask which site will assemble and test the offered unit.
- Keep the limits of a visit clear: a factory visit provides observations and a document trail; it does not replace a harmonic study, type test, protection coordination study or independent performance test.

Questions harmonic filter buyers ask
What is the difference between an APF and an SVG?
An APF is selected mainly to cancel harmonic current. An SVG is selected mainly to inject or absorb reactive power quickly. Some products combine both functions, and some APFs also provide reactive or imbalance correction, but the functions should be stated separately in the quotation. Ask for the current or kvar rating, control objective and test condition rather than relying on the product name alone.
Can an APF replace a detuned capacitor bank?
Not automatically. An APF can reduce harmonic current, but a capacitor bank may still be needed for displacement power factor or reactive support. Conversely, a detuned capacitor branch may be the better solution for a stable, well-defined load. The choice depends on the harmonic spectrum, load variation, existing compensation and the required power factor. Model both options before changing the electrical topology.
Where should the CT be installed?
The CT must measure the current that represents the load to be compensated, and its polarity and ratio must match the controller. The correct location depends on whether the filter is compensating the whole incoming supply, one feeder or a group of loads. A CT installed on the wrong side of a parallel branch can make the controller chase the wrong current. Ask for a CT wiring diagram and commissioning procedure.
Does a higher APF current always give a lower THDi?
No. The result depends on the harmonic spectrum, the filter bandwidth, the number of modules, the CT measurement and the impedance of the supply. A unit that is much larger than the actual harmonic current may not improve the result and can increase losses or control difficulty. Size the filter from a measured or calculated harmonic current, not from a rule-of-thumb percentage of the transformer rating.
Is a passive filter reactor the same as an APF?
No. A passive filter reactor changes the impedance of a capacitor branch or drive circuit and is tuned for a defined duty. An APF uses a power converter to inject a controlled current. A reactor can be a useful component of a passive filter, but a reactor catalogue page alone does not establish the performance of a complete filter. Keep the two scopes separate in the enquiry.
What documents should come with an APF or SVG quotation?
Ask for the exact model drawing, electrical schedule, current or kvar rating, voltage and frequency, harmonic range, response time, losses, cooling, IP rating, CT ratio and location, communications, protection settings, bill of materials, applicable standards, routine-test plan and a sample serial-number-linked test record. For a cabinet, add the breaker, fuse, busbar, cable-terminal and earthing schedules.
Can I compare the published “97%” or “THDi below 5%” claims directly?
Only if the definition and test conditions are the same. Check whether the figure refers to harmonic-current reduction, THDi at the load, THDi at the point of common coupling, a particular load step or a paid site measurement. Ask for the background distortion, CT accuracy, measurement duration and the exact model. A guaranteed site result should be written into the commissioning acceptance criteria, not inferred from a brochure.
Are these companies ranked by quality, price or export volume?
No. This is a research shortlist based on published product, catalogue and location information. It is not a quality, price, certification, export or “best” ranking. The article does not establish that every company manufactures every filter type at the stated address, and BottomRace has not audited every factory for this list.
