For a Yueqing smart capacitor manufacturer shortlist, compare Geyue, Hangrong, Yinyue, CNBYG, Youlang, Yadulan, Weidekang, Lugang, EAG and Jinluo. Each company publishes an intelligent-capacitor or integrated-compensation product family and a Yueqing connection on an official website. The useful comparison is not the number printed on a module label: it is the compensation mode, capacitor voltage, harmonic duty, reactor arrangement, switching method, controller boundary, protection logic, communication and the test documents tied to the exact model.

A smart capacitor is not simply a capacitor with a digital display. The term usually describes a module that combines low-voltage capacitor elements with measurement, control, switching, protection and sometimes communication in one enclosure. Some models add series reactors for harmonic suppression; others are designed for common compensation, split-phase compensation or a complete modular cabinet. An automatic power-factor controller, a contactor, an APF or an SVG is not automatically a smart capacitor. Define the function and supply boundary before comparing prices. Our power capacitor guide, reactor guide, harmonic filter guide and switchgear guide can help define the surrounding scope.

How this list was selected: Official product, catalogue and contact pages were reviewed on 24 October 2026. This is a research shortlist, not a quality, price, certification, export or “best” ranking. It does not imply that BottomRace has audited every factory or verified every published rating. Confirm the legal entity, production site, exact model, current datasheet and supporting test documents before ordering. A company website, product photograph or generic logo does not prove the performance or certification of the specific unit you will receive.

Manufacturer profiles and sourcing questions

1. Zhejiang Geyue Electric Technology Co., Ltd.

Short name: GEYUE
Published location: Zhangwan Industrial Zone, Beibaixiang, Yueqing

Geyue publishes an intelligent-capacitor family alongside controllers, reactors, capacitors and active power-quality equipment. Its product description presents an integrated module with automatic stepped switching, voltage and current sensing, digital control and RS485 communication. The page also refers to cascade operation and local protection functions. Those features are useful for a compact compensation cabinet, but the buyer should still identify the internal capacitor elements, switching devices, controller boundaries and the exact communication protocol. Request the model table and confirm whether the quoted unit is common compensation, split-phase compensation or a reactor-integrated version.

Before requesting a quote: Provide the system voltage, frequency, phase and neutral arrangement, required kvar, load balance, measured harmonic spectrum, target power factor, number of steps and available cabinet space. Ask for the exact model, capacitor configuration, switching method, reactor percentage if fitted, current and voltage sensing arrangement, CT ratio, communication protocol, protection settings, dimensions and a serial-number-linked routine-test record.

Official sources: Intelligent-capacitor product family – company contact details.

2. Hangrong Electric (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.

Short name: HANGRONG
Published location: No. 88 Zhandong Road, Dianhou Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing

Hangrong publishes several intelligent-compensation families. The HR-ZNGB and HR-ZNFB pages describe 0.4 kV integrated compensation devices, while the HR-ZXCS and HR-ZXCF pages cover harmonic-suppressing variants. A separate HR-Z-XM page presents an integrated smart capacitor module. This range makes the series name especially important: two quotations that both say 'smart capacitor' may differ in capacitor voltage, reactor placement, switching technology, controller architecture and cabinet scope. Ask for the written model schedule and confirm whether the reactor is inside the module, mounted beside it or omitted. Do not select an anti-harmonic version from a generic percentage without checking the actual harmonic spectrum and the capacitor terminal voltage.

Before requesting a quote: Send the measured harmonic spectrum, dominant harmonic orders, required kvar, compensation mode, system voltage, phase arrangement, load profile, switching frequency and cabinet dimensions. Ask for the exact HR model, capacitor rating, reactor percentage and position, switching device, control and protection logic, CT arrangement, communication, temperature-rise data, wiring diagram and model-specific test record.

Official sources: HR-ZNGB and HR-ZNFB integrated compensation devices – HR-ZXCS and HR-ZXCF harmonic-suppressing units – HR-Z-XM integrated smart capacitor module – company contact details.

3. Zhejiang Yinyue Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.

Short name: YINYUE
Published location: No. 177 Wei 5th Road, Yueqing Economic Development Zone

Yinyue's YY-8 page describes a low-voltage intelligent integrated capacitor built around two delta- or star-connected capacitor elements with integrated sensing, control, zero-cross switching, protection, measurement, signalling and network functions. The company also publishes a single-reactor intelligent capacitor. That distinction matters because a standard module and a reactor-integrated module have different voltage stresses, dimensions and installation requirements. Yinyue's wider catalogue includes self-healing shunt capacitors, controllers, compound switches, contactors, reactors and capacitor boards, so the production scope can be discussed in more detail during an audit. Confirm which legal entity and production site will supply the quoted module.

Before requesting a quote: State whether the project needs common compensation, split-phase compensation or a single-reactor module; provide the system voltage, required kvar, harmonic spectrum, CT ratio and location, number of modules and communication requirement. Ask for the exact YY-8 or single-reactor model, capacitor combination, rated voltage and current, switching device, reactor rate, protection thresholds, dimensions, wiring diagram, firmware version and routine-test record.

Official sources: YY-8 intelligent integrated power capacitor – Single-reactor intelligent capacitor – Capacitor product centre – company contact details.

4. Baoyu Co., Ltd. (CNBYG)

Short name: CNBYG
Published location: Shuanghuanglou Industrial Park, Beibaixiang, Yueqing

CNBYG publishes the BY81 intelligent capacitor and the BY82J anti-harmonic intelligent capacitor as separate product families. The BY81 page describes an integrated module combining low-voltage capacitor elements with measurement, control and network functions. The BY82J page presents a reactor-integrated anti-harmonic design and states that a 7% reactor is intended for systems dominated by fifth and higher harmonics, while a 14% reactor is intended for systems with third-harmonic content. Treat that as published selection guidance, not a substitute for a harmonic study. The capacitor terminal voltage, resonance point and actual spectrum must be checked for the specific site before the reactor percentage is fixed.

Before requesting a quote: Provide the measured harmonic spectrum and THDu/THDi, dominant orders, required kvar, compensation mode, system voltage, phase arrangement, load variation, existing capacitor banks and CT details. Ask for the exact BY81 or BY82J model, reactor percentage, capacitor terminal voltage, switching arrangement, protection, communication, dimensions, wiring diagram and serial-number-linked test record.

Official sources: BY81 intelligent capacitor – BY82J anti-harmonic intelligent capacitor – company contact details.

5. Zhejiang Youlang Electric Co., Ltd.

Short name: YOULANG
Published location: No. 32 Shanggong Road, Shangwu Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing

Youlang lists YLZN as a 0.4 kV intelligent integrated compensation device and YLZK as an anti-harmonic version. The company's broader range includes low-voltage shunt capacitors, controllers, compound switches, capacitor-switching contactors, series reactors and APF/SVG equipment. That breadth is useful when a project needs more than one compensation building block, but it also means the quotation must define the boundary clearly. An integrated compensation device may include capacitors, switching and control in one enclosure, while a conventional bank may use separate capacitors, reactors, contactors and a controller. Compare the bill of materials rather than the product-family name alone.

Before requesting a quote: Send the system voltage, required kvar, phase balance, harmonic spectrum, target power factor, number of steps, switching frequency, CT location and available enclosure space. Ask for the exact YLZN or YLZK model, capacitor and reactor configuration, switching device, controller logic, protection thresholds, communications, dimensions, wiring diagram and production-test record.

Official sources: YLZN intelligent integrated compensation device – YLZK anti-harmonic intelligent capacitor – company contact details.

6. Yadulan Electric (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.

Short name: ADULLAN
Published location: No. 83-87 Zhongshan Avenue, Madao, Liushi, Yueqing

Yadulan publishes the ADDZN intelligent capacitor with a detailed functional description. The page states that one unit can form a complete compensation system, that multiple units can network automatically, and that the controller can identify CT polarity and operate in automatic or controlled modes. It also describes zero-cross switching and protection functions. These are useful claims for a retrofit or a distributed cabinet, but they must be verified against the exact firmware and wiring diagram. Ask how the module behaves after a communication loss, a reversed CT, a missing phase or an over-temperature event, and require the response to be demonstrated during factory testing.

Before requesting a quote: Provide the single-line diagram, CT ratio and location, system voltage, required kvar, compensation mode, number of modules, communication topology, load profile and harmonic spectrum. Ask for the exact ADDZN model, capacitor configuration, switching device, control modes, protection table, networking limits, dimensions, terminal diagram and a routine-test record covering CT reversal and communication loss.

Official sources: ADDZN intelligent capacitor – company contact details.

7. Zhejiang Weidekang Electric Co., Ltd.

Short name: WEIDEKANG
Published location: No. 61 Aomen Middle Road, Jiangjiaqiao, Beibaixiang, Yueqing

Weidekang's product centre includes CHWDK9 and CHWDK8 intelligent capacitor pages, together with controllers, switching devices, reactors and power capacitors. The existence of a product page confirms the published category, but the public text available for the smart-capacitor models is limited. Use this company as a manufacturing lead rather than assuming a complete specification from the page title. Ask for the current catalogue, nameplate photograph, dimensional drawing, wiring diagram, protection schedule and a serial-number-linked factory test record. Confirm whether the internal capacitor elements, controller, switching device and reactor are made or integrated by the named entity.

Before requesting a quote: Request a quotation for the exact CHWDK9 or CHWDK8 model and state the system voltage, required kvar, compensation mode, harmonic spectrum, number of steps, CT ratio and location, communication requirement and cabinet dimensions. Ask for the capacitor voltage, internal switching method, reactor arrangement, control and protection functions, firmware version, terminal diagram, routine-test record and warranty entity.

Official sources: CHWDK9 intelligent capacitor – Smart-capacitor product category – company contact details.

8. Zhejiang Lugang Capacitor Co., Ltd.

Short name: LUGANG
Published location: No. 555 Liule Road, Building 6, Liushi, Yueqing

Lugang publishes LGTXMKJ smart capacitor modules and an LGTBBDL dynamic modular compensation cabinet. The module page provides information on kvar ratings, module dimensions, fuses and the P7 harmonic designation, while the cabinet page describes a modular assembly with an IP3X enclosure. This is a different supply model from a single sealed smart capacitor: the buyer may be purchasing modules, a cabinet, or both. Define whether the project requires individual modules for an existing enclosure or a complete factory-built cabinet with busbars, protective devices, terminals, cooling and system testing. Request the single-line diagram and the bill of materials before comparing prices.

Before requesting a quote: Provide the required kvar, system voltage, compensation mode, harmonic spectrum, number of steps, module dimensions, cabinet footprint, busbar rating, short-circuit level and environmental conditions. Ask for the exact LGTXMKJ or LGTBBDL configuration, capacitor and reactor details, fuse and breaker schedule, switching method, controller, protection, IP rating, temperature-rise evidence, drawings and routine-test record.

Official sources: LGTXMKJ smart capacitor module – LGTBBDL modular compensation cabinet – company contact details.

9. Yunrong Electric Energy Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. (EAG)

Short name: EAG
Published location: No. 86 Zhenxing Street, Nanjie Village, Wengyang, Yueqing

Yunrong, which presents its site as EAG, publishes the EPZRBC intelligent low-voltage power capacitor and the EPZRBC/H harmonic-suppressing version. The EPZRBC page gives 450 V common-compensation examples from 7.5 to 40 kvar and 250 V split-phase examples from 5 to 30 kvar. The EPZRBC/H page presents 480 V common-compensation and 280 V split-phase examples with a 7% reactor and also discusses 14% reactor selection for third-harmonic conditions. The published table is a useful starting point, but the capacitor terminal voltage, reactor rate and module dimensions must be matched to the actual system and harmonic study. Confirm the exact model, voltage, capacity and compensation mode in the quotation.

Before requesting a quote: Send the system voltage, frequency, required kvar, common or split-phase compensation, measured harmonic spectrum, target power factor, number of steps, CT ratio and location, ambient temperature and installation space. Ask for the exact EPZRBC or EPZRBC/H model, capacitor terminal voltage, reactor percentage, switching device, measurement and protection functions, communication, dimensions, wiring diagram and routine-test record.

Official sources: EPZRBC intelligent low-voltage power capacitor – EPZRBC/H anti-harmonic intelligent capacitor – company contact details.

10. Zhejiang Jinluo Electric Technology Co., Ltd.

Short name: JINLUO
Published location: He'ao Industrial Zone, Liushi, Yueqing

Jinluo describes itself as a manufacturer of reactive-power compensation components and publishes dedicated categories for intelligent capacitors and anti-harmonic intelligent capacitors. Its official site also lists controllers, compound switches, reactors, capacitors and related switching products. The public product pages are largely image-based, so this guide does not infer a capacity table or certification from the screenshots. Ask for a current written datasheet and a filled-in model schedule before using Jinluo in a tender. The company's published contact page gives the He'ao Industrial Zone in Liushi, Yueqing.

Before requesting a quote: State the required system voltage, kvar, common or split-phase compensation, harmonic conditions, number of steps, switching frequency, CT arrangement and communication requirement. Ask for the exact normal or anti-harmonic model, capacitor voltage and configuration, reactor rate, switching device, controller, protection functions, dimensions, wiring diagram and a sample factory test record.

Official sources: Intelligent capacitor category – Standard intelligent capacitor – Anti-harmonic intelligent capacitor – company contact details.

Smart capacitor quotation and design checklist

A smart-capacitor quotation can look complete while leaving the harmonic study, module boundary, protection settings and cabinet responsibility unstated. Give every supplier the same measurements and ask for a model-specific design, not a price for a generic “smart capacitor”.

Include in your enquiry Ask each supplier to confirm
System and compensation mode Nominal and maximum voltage, frequency, three-phase three-wire or four-wire arrangement, common compensation, split-phase compensation, phase imbalance, target power factor and required kvar.
Harmonic study Measured harmonic spectrum, dominant orders, THDi and THDu, background distortion, load variation, resonance risk and the effect of existing capacitor banks or filters.
Capacitor configuration Internal capacitor elements, delta or star connection, rated capacitor voltage, capacitance tolerance, discharge arrangement, self-healing construction and expected life conditions.
Reactor and harmonic duty Whether a reactor is included, its percentage and position, capacitor terminal voltage, intended harmonic orders, resonance point and the calculation used to select the reactor.
Switching device Contactor, compound switch, thyristor or another method; zero-cross condition, response time, inrush current, switching frequency, expected electrical life and failure mode.
Module or cabinet boundary Whether the quotation includes only the module or also the enclosure, busbars, fuses, breaker, CTs, terminals, cooling, surge protection, wiring and system testing.
Control and CT interface Controller location, automatic or manual mode, number of steps, CT ratio and polarity, CT position, cable length, networking, master-slave behaviour and loss-of-communication strategy.
Protection Overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, over-temperature, phase loss, three-phase imbalance, harmonic overload, fuse or breaker coordination and trip or isolation behaviour.
Measurement and communication Voltage and current accuracy, power and power-factor measurement, event log, local display, RS485 or another protocol, register map, remote control and firmware update route.
Thermal and installation Rated ambient, altitude, IP rating, heat loss, module spacing, airflow, dust, noise, cable entry, mounting orientation and operation at partial load.
Tests and standards Applicable IEC or GB standards, type and routine tests, capacitor test, dielectric and insulation test, functional test, temperature-rise evidence and a sample serial-number-linked record.
Commercial identity Legal manufacturer, integrator, production site, country of origin, warranty entity, spare-parts route, document revision and technical contact for commissioning.

Do not choose a reactor percentage from a catalogue slogan. A 7% reactor is often associated with fifth-harmonic duty and a 14% reactor with third-harmonic duty, but the correct choice depends on the measured spectrum, capacitor voltage, network impedance and resonance analysis. A reactor can reduce one harmonic problem while creating another if the capacitor bank is selected without a study. Ask the supplier to show the calculation and the capacitor terminal voltage for the offered model.

Keep the smart module and the compensation cabinet separate. A module may contain capacitors, a switching device, a controller, sensors and terminals, while a cabinet adds busbars, fuses, breakers, reactors, CTs, ventilation, door interlocks and system wiring. A “one-unit” sales description is not a bill of materials. Compare the scope line by line and ask who designs the enclosure, verifies temperature rise, performs the wiring check and signs the commissioning record.

Treat published ratings as model-specific claims. A catalogue may show a range of kvar values, a switching life, a communication feature or a protection function. Ask for the exact model, voltage, capacitance or kvar, test condition and firmware version. Do not convert a company-level statement into a guarantee for every product, and do not infer a certification from a logo on a homepage.

What to check during a smart capacitor factory visit

Arrange the visit after the supplier has identified the exact model and production site. Ask which operations are performed in-house: capacitor winding, metallization, element assembly, controller-board production, switching-device assembly, module wiring, calibration, burn-in and final packing.

  • Trace the capacitor element: ask to see the metallized film, winding, flattening, heat treatment, spraying, soldering, impregnation or filling and discharge-resistor process. Record the material specification and lot traceability for the offered model.
  • Review the module assembly: inspect capacitor mounting, busbars, switching device, fuses, terminal spacing, creepage, earthing, sensor placement and cable routing. Compare the build with the approved drawing.
  • Check the controller: review the control board, voltage and current sensing, CT interface, display, communication board, firmware version and parameter backup. Ask how the controller handles a reversed CT, missing phase and disconnected module.
  • Inspect the switching and protection scheme: confirm the switching device, zero-cross detection, inrush behaviour, fuse or breaker rating, over-temperature sensor, discharge path and failure mode. Ask what happens when a capacitor element or switching device fails.
  • Watch the production tests: request capacitance, loss, insulation, dielectric, discharge, functional, communication, protection and burn-in tests applicable to the product. Record the instrument calibration, limits and serial number.
  • Review the harmonic configuration: for an anti-harmonic module, inspect the reactor, its mounting, insulation, temperature sensors and terminal voltage. Ask to see the calculation that links the reactor rate to the intended harmonic spectrum.
  • Check multi-module operation: if several modules are proposed, ask to see automatic addressing, CT sharing, step rotation, master-slave or distributed control, current sharing and the response when one module is removed.
  • Ask for the failure strategy: confirm whether a fault disconnects one module, opens a breaker, inhibits switching or trips the whole bank. The required behaviour depends on the plant; a generic “automatic protection” label is not a wiring and logic specification.
  • Review the records: request the approved drawing, bill of materials, calibration list, routine-test record, nameplate data, firmware record, commissioning checklist and warranty route linked to the serial number.
  • Confirm the entity and site: verify the legal manufacturer, integrator and production address for the capacitor, controller, switching device and enclosure. If a group has several plants, ask which site will assemble and test the offered module.
  • Keep the limits of a visit clear: a factory visit provides observations and a document trail; it does not replace a harmonic study, type test, protection coordination study or independent performance measurement.

Questions smart capacitor buyers ask

Is a smart capacitor the same as a power capacitor?

No. A power capacitor is a component that provides capacitance. A smart capacitor normally combines capacitor elements with a controller, switching device, sensors, protection and sometimes communication in a module. Some products add reactors. The supply boundary and internal architecture vary, so ask for the block diagram and bill of materials rather than relying on the product name.

When is an anti-harmonic module appropriate?

It may be appropriate when the network has significant harmonic distortion and a conventional capacitor bank could amplify harmonic current or experience excessive voltage and heating. The decision requires a measured spectrum, an impedance and resonance study, the intended capacitor voltage and the reactor design. Do not select 7% or 14% only because a brochure recommends it; verify the harmonic orders and the actual site conditions.

Can a smart capacitor replace a complete compensation cabinet?

Only if the offered scope includes the enclosure, busbars, protective devices, terminals, ventilation, CT interface and system testing required by the project. A module may be installed inside an existing cabinet or supplied as part of a factory-built assembly. Compare the bill of materials and the responsibility for design verification, temperature rise, wiring and commissioning.

Where should the CT be installed?

The CT must measure the current that represents the load to be compensated, and its ratio and polarity must match the controller. The correct location depends on whether the bank compensates the incoming supply, one feeder or a group of loads. A CT on the wrong side of a parallel branch can make the controller switch the wrong number of steps. Ask for a CT wiring diagram and a commissioning procedure that includes polarity and ratio checks.

Does a higher kvar module always improve the power factor?

No. The required kvar depends on the load, target power factor, existing compensation, voltage and operating profile. Oversizing can cause leading power factor, excessive switching, unnecessary losses or control instability. Size the bank from measurements and a step study, then check the smallest step and the resolution needed for light-load operation.

What is zero-cross switching?

It is a switching method intended to connect or disconnect a capacitor near a favourable point of the voltage or current waveform to reduce inrush and electrical stress. The exact method, response, switching device and claimed inrush performance must be stated for the model. A marketing phrase such as “zero switching” does not prove the behaviour under a distorted supply or a particular load cycle.

Which documents should come with a smart-capacitor quotation?

Ask for the exact model drawing, block diagram, capacitor and reactor ratings, switching-device details, controller functions, CT ratio and location, protection settings, communication register map, bill of materials, applicable standards, routine-test plan and a sample serial-number-linked test record. For a cabinet, add the breaker, fuse, busbar, cable-terminal, earthing and ventilation schedules.

Are these companies ranked by quality, price or export volume?

No. This is a research shortlist based on published product, catalogue and location information. It is not a quality, price, certification, export or “best” ranking. The article does not establish that every company manufactures every smart-capacitor type at the stated address, and BottomRace has not audited every factory for this list.
